Bucket List Witnessing Pink River Dolphins:
Pink river dolphin tour was amazing! Pictures soon to follow! As for the Leatherback sea turtles, they decided to be a no show! No worries, recently was asked to be part of a sea turtle conservation project in Guatemala and reside in a small Spanish speaking village for a week during my Central America travels! As of 5 minutes ago, I gladly accepted and will be traveling there after my island hopping in Belize!
Officially leaving Suriname in a few hours! Short jaunt in Aruba, repack at the beach house, and then flight to Belize to start my Central America Adventure Tour in less than 30 hours! Stay tuned for images of picturesque places, travel stories, and adventure highlights!

A Moment of Self Reflection:
Life is unpredictable, people change, and true love does not always last forever. Bottom line: relationships are hard, and sometimes at the most unexpected moment you have to decide whether to pursue your goals or to make time for your partner. I tried to have the best of both worlds, but it was definitely a challenge. I still believe that everything that happens for a reason, regardless of the obstacles I had faced.
Most importantly, you create your own path, learn from your mistakes, and eventually move on reaching for that glimpse of hope that will make all of the challenges you faced well worth it.
I may not know what will happen in the next chapter in my life, but I do know that I am stoked to endlessly travel the world, exceed my life expectations, welcome new adventures, and strive to accomplish each and every goal that I set forth.
Here’s to a great ending of a 2012 and an even better, more inspirational beginning to 2013! Thank you for all my close friends & family whom have been supportive and encouraging during my world travels. In addition, to all my good friends and facebook friends thank you for your inspirational and fun comments – these did not go unnoticed!
Departure from South America:
After demobilizing in the early morning hours of Christmas Eve, I completed a helicopter ride to the Cayenne airport in French Guiana, South America, 1 puddle jumper hop to the Caribbean, and a celebration of Christmas Eve in a tropical destination of Fort de France, Martinique. I brought in Christmas Puerto Rico style (amazing!), subjected myself to 1 airplane bumpy ride (prior plane experienced maintenance issues due to ice), and 2 puddle jumper transits. Not to mention the cue waiting time equaling more than 30+ hours between Christmas Eve and Christmas! After the crazy traveling during the holidays, I am officially HOME spending time in the beach house!
To all my wonderful mates working on ships, onshore enjoying time with their loves ones at home, and those that are bringing in the New Year in a tropical paradise, may all of you have a fabulous Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
The countdown officially begins from the day after Christmas until the New Year! Have you finished all those New Year’s resolutions for 2012 and begun brainstorming ideas for 2013?!?
I would thank all of you that have sent me texts, emails, and facebook messages/posts wishing me a very merry Christmas! Apologies that I am a bit late in responding, but I will get back to you today!
Below is how I embraced Christmas Eve. Would you have guessed anything else?!?
